Cambridge Day Conference
LAW & LIBERTY: VALUING FREEDOM IN ALL ITS FULLNESS

We may feel that there is an ongoing loss of our freedom and liberties as Christians in the UK. Safe spaces and the restriction of freedom to express and speak about the gospel and issues relating to the Christian faith are often articulated as a way to ‘protect’ people. However, the freedom to exchange ideas, compare worldviews and discuss our values is crucial if we are to explain that true freedom lies in the good news of Jesus Christ.

The aim of this day conference is to help lawyers and medics work through some of the challenges we face today in terms of liberty, to encourage involvement in the discussion of these issues and, most importantly, to not lose heart but see this as a wonderful gospel opportunity!

Our speakers are experts in their fields and will each give us a scriptural focus as well as helpful insights into the current environment of both the legal and practical outworking
of the issues.

This conference, organised jointly by Christian Medical Fellowship and the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship, is open to all lawyers and healthcare professionals, medical, legal and nursing students, spouses, and friends.
